Born, raised, and based in the Bay Area, elijah jalil is a writer of many genres: songwriting, playwriting, poetry, and choreography. He even has many a doodle for you to peruse. Most everything alchemizes in his journals. Ideas and dreams originate in the mind-body-spirit, then they materialize into a journal until they evolve into their next form (song, poem, play, etc.) all toward the main mission of storytelling. Furthermore, he has built his own secondhand, hand-embellished, acid-wash, clothing brand, called Black Bleach in an effort to minimize the fast-fashion waste problem. Through his artistic endeavors, he aims for ascension and inspiration while remaining connected and grounded in reality. To all his people he says, weonouwé.
